Common Inquiries
My pet needs to go to the vet. Will you take them?
Yes. If an injury occurs or your pet shows signs of distress. I will take them to the nearest emergency vet.
Do you groom cats as well?
No. I do not groom cats at the moment but possibly in the future.
Will my dog be around other dogs?
Yes. Our location has an open kennel policy. We do not crate dogs unless it's necessary. We have found that they have a better experience if they don't have to spend their entire time with us in a crate.
How often should I bring my dog for grooming?
For shorter hair dogs, I usually recommend 6-8 weeks. For longer hair dogs, I recommend 4-6 weeks. If your dog sheds or has a tendency to get matted I would recommend coming in for a touch up in between grooming appoinments.
How long will it take to groom my pet?
It all depends on size, length of hair and services desired of course. Baths typically take 45min-2hrs. Minigrooms take about 1-4 hrs. Full grooms can take anywhere from 2 -5 hrs. More approximate times can be given upon arrival.
Do you have any breed restrictions?
No. I only turn away dogs if it becomes dangerous to me or themselves to continue grooming.
How old does my dog have to be to get groomed?
We start grooming as young as 8 weeks as long as they have all of their puppy shots.
